Pat Feder

Pat began his career in 1990 as a computer hardware and software engineer with GE Medical Systems in Waukesha, Wis. In 1997, Pat made a career move to become an educator with Chippewa Valley Technical College, where he started their Cisco Academy and helped to create their associates degree in Information Technology.

Pat’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UW-Madison and Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Marquette University.

In 1999, Pat came to MATC and has taught Programming, Cisco, CompTIA, VMware, Microsoft Server/Client operating systems and Active Directory related courses. His IT certifications include CompTIA A+, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA). Pat is currently an IT instructor as well as the IT Department Chair at MATC.

When Pat is not teaching, his interests include serving in his church, spending time with his wife and three kids, downhill skiing, waterskiing, mountain biking and dual-sport motorcycle riding.
